Is it time to replace your water heater?
Most water heaters last 8–12 years. If yours is showing any of these signs — it's probably time.
No hot water at all
Your tank may have failed completely. We can usually replace it the same day you call.
Water isn't getting hot enough
Sediment buildup or a failing heating element. If your tank is 8+ years old, replacement is usually more cost-effective than repair.
Leaking or pooling water around the tank
A leaking tank can't be patched — it needs to be replaced before it causes water damage.
Rust-colored water from hot taps
Your tank is corroding from the inside. Once rust starts, replacement is the only real fix.
Strange noises — banging, popping
Sediment has hardened at the bottom. The unit is working harder than it should and won't last much longer.
Your tank is 10+ years old
Even if it's still running, you're on borrowed time. A planned replacement beats an emergency one.
